SatelLife employs satellite, telephone and radio networking technology to improve communications and exchanges of information in the fields of public health, medicine, and the environment. A special emphasis is placed on areas of the world where access is limited by poor communications, economic conditions, or disasters.

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) services 32 countries: electronic mail, electronic conferencing, Web site hosting, satellite phones, and HF/VHF radio. MAFLink, the MAF-US family of telecommunications services, serves 3,300 Christian groups and missionaries in 32 countries.

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) provides warehousing, shipping, and demographic mapping services for Christian agencies. MAF has 81 aircraft on 41 bases flying in remote and isolated regions of 19 countries worldwide

Medical supply collecting/sending/providing organizations

Global links is a nonprofit organization specializing in recycling surplus medical supplies and equipment to needy hospitals and clinics in Latin America and throughout the world.

MAP International is a Christian organization which supplies Travel Packs (prepared medical supply packs) for short term health missions.

Recycler's World has an area for buying and selling used medical equipment.

Recovered Medical Equipment for the Developing World (REMEDY) is an organization dedicated to collecting and recycling medical supplies for donation to developing countries. They supply free Inservice Teaching Packets to all requesting hospitals. Packets consist of an audio-visual presentation, computer data basing software, written information for all participants, descriptions of their policies and procedures, and a list of over 300 U.S.-based charities that may be interested in receiving recovered materials.

World Medical Mission, the medical ministry of the Christian organization Samaritan's Purse, accepts donations of selected supplies for use in developing countries.

Amigos de las Americas is an international, voluntary, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization that, through service: provides leadership development opportunities for young people; promotes community health in Latin America; and facilitates cross-cultural understanding for the people of the Americas.

American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is a student-governed, national organization committed to representing the concerns of physicians-in-training. With a membership of nearly 30,000 medical students, pre-medical students, interns, and residents from across the country, AMSA continues its commitment to improving medical training and the nation's health.

(IHMEC) Global Health Education Consortium is a consortium of faculty and health care educators dedicated to international health education in U.S. and Canadian medical schools and residency programs.  Formed in 1991, its mission is to foster international health medical education in four program areas - curriculum, clinical training, career development, and international education policy.

United Planet is an international humanitarian and educational non-profit public charity with 501(c)3 status, based in Boston, USA. With members and volunteers in 150 countries, the organization is devoted to fostering cross-cultural understanding and friendship; supporting communities in dire need worldwide; and enhancing social and economic prosperity among cultures in order to unite the world in a community beyond borders.

One of the key initiatives of United Planet is our International Quest program.

The Quest program enables volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to make a difference in 1-52 week educational, humanitarian, peace-building, and healthcare projects in over 50 countries.

NutriSurvey — Software for analysis of nutritional data for individuals or communities. The site also has a good list of food databases for industrialized as well as developing countries (including Thailand, Brazil, Indonesia, Peru, Egypt, Kenya, India, Mexico, Senegal, and Vietnam) http://www.nutrisurvey.de/
